Whenever I go to America, one of the things that I most enjoy is going to the theme parks. I love doing them because it brings unimaginable things to life. It takes you on an adventure of your own. One of the parks I most enjoy going to is Islands of Adventure. At first it seems like a hyper rollercoaster thrill park, but it offers a lot for younger children. For the little ones it offers Seuss land, this is a wacky world based on the characters created by Dr. Seuss. For older people there are rides like the Incredible Hulk. This offers a high speed adrenaline rush of a ride. Islands of Adventure are all about travelling through different areas bringing things to life. One of my favourite rides is the Jurassic Park log flume. It is a log flume that takes you through a dinosaur infested jungle. Then you encounter a terrifying t-rex, and plummet down a high speed flume.
Islands of Adventure sound all high speed but it isn’t there are restaurants and other places to relax in. Islands of Adventure’s sister park is Universal Studios. This park is aimed at bringing TV shows and movies to life. They bring such shows to life as Fear Factor, and many of Nickelodeon shows including Spongebob square pants. This park aims to bring children’s fantasies to life. The movies that rides are based on include Shrek 4-D and E. T. Also the Jaws and Men in Black rides are great. Men in black is all about hunting aliens and getting the highest score possible. It offers thrills and spills as a guarantee.
For older people Islands of Adventure and Universal studios offers a lot more . . . At night.
The area comes alive with live bands, music and alcohol. It is an all night party if you want it to be. The shops around the two parks offer fantastic deals and memorabilia for reminiscing about your time.
There are arcades and designer shops for spending and having fun. There is a Cineplex that shows all of the up to date movies. So after you have had a fun time in the parks you can relax and watch a movie you have been waiting to see for a long time.
Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios offer a lot for all different age groups. This is why I like it. Everyone can find something they enjoy
