Woodridge is situated on highway 27 three quarters of a mile from the west end of the highway 192 heading north towards Clermont. Many say that it is 10 minutes to Disney but to be sensible it takes nearer 15 depending upon traffic.Woodridge is a very quiet community, the majority of it being residential not short term rental. The main areas within Woodridge are The Cedars and Clear Creek.All the amenities are situated at the entrance to Woodridge where there is a bank, post office, dentists, dry cleaners, pizza shop, petrol station , and a Winn Dixie supermarket which has pharmacy and delicatessen.Quarter of a mile away a new Wal-Mart has just opened - it's one of the very large super stores, they have virtually everything. It takes half a day to go round it all, or at least it seems like it. There are lots of golf courses only 5 minutes away and a state park 4 miles away on the way to Clermont. Overall Woodridge is a very quite community which is very clean and has no traffic or road noise, the type of place we would all like to live.
