Florida Guide > Dining

The Grand Buffet all you can eat Chinese restaurant is located on the US Hwy 27 and is convenient for all the villa communities on the CR54 and Champions Gate Village neighborhood and of course the villa communities on the US Hwy 27.

There is absolutely nothing fancy whatsoever about this place as it an all you can eat restaurant and it attracts all sorts of diners from tourists to locals and workers coming in to fill up a box to take away to passing truck drivers!!

There are literally dozen of choices to choose from and below is just a small sample of what we can recall!! There were plenty of choices to keep the fussiest of diner’s happy including children of all ages.

  • Soups including chicken and hot and sour
  • Egg rolls
  • Spring rolls
  • Crab Rangoon
  • Boiled rice
  • Egg fried rice
  • Noodles
  • BBQ chicken pieces
  • Sauces including a mushroom gravy and sweet and sour
  • Sushi
  • Sweet and sour chicken (in batter)
  • Ribs
  • Crab legs
  • Mussels
  • Beef in black bean sauce
  • Spicy meatballs
  • Chicken with stir fry vegetables
  • Chili sweet prawns (stir fried)
  • Sweet and sour pork (in batter)
  • Fried shrimp (in batter)
  • Fried Fish (in batter)

There was also a very healthily stocked salad bar with at least a dozen items and also included fresh fruit salad. There were also fried (traditional and not a bread roll with icing on top) mini donuts and ice creams in various toppings.

We ordered soda fountain drinks which included free and frequent top ups and beer. The beer choice was American and Chinese including Tsing Tao Chinas No 1 beer. The drinks were served in plastic glasses including the beer so the guys just drink it out the bottle!

We asked for chop sticks which was no problem but were the wooden snap apart disposable variety you normally get with a take out.

The service was very good and really friendly, infact the server at times stood behind our table at the service station smiling and grinning at us, she felt part of the group almost!!

The buffet was $6.99 per adult, the kids buffet was cheaper and well worth every cent but again don’t expect too much from the surroundings, but if you are in the neighborhood why not drop buy for a cheap dinner that will feed your hunger for a while!
